OpenAI Converting from Non-Profit to For Profit and Sam Altman Will Get $10 Billion

OpenAI is working on a plan to restructure its core business into a for-profit benefit corporation that will no longer be controlled by its non-profit board.
CEO Sam Altman and likely many employees will get equity. The reports are Sam will get 7% of the company which is valued at $150 billion. 7% would be about $10-11 billion.
